Her journey into the world of literature began at the Lyons Public Library, where she not only served as a librarian but also took on the role of a book repairer. Surrounded by the stories of countless authors, Raven felt a deep connection to each book, often pondering the tales behind the torn pages and coffee stains she encountered. Her dedication to restoring these literary treasures ignited a spark within her—a desire to create her own stories.

Raven penned her first children's story during a time when manuscripts were sent to publishers via traditional mail. Despite facing numerous rejections, her spirit was momentarily dimmed, leading her to set aside her writing aspirations. However, the encouragement of her mother, who always believed in her potential as an author, reignited her passion. After years of journaling and crafting stories in solitude, Raven found her voice once more following her mother's passing in 2016, determined to share her narratives with the world.

Having spent several years in the Czech Republic, Raven draws inspiration from her diverse experiences. She cherishes her time with her daughter and finds joy in writing, caring for her cats, cooking, exploring astrology, drawing, and crafting.
